Grown Alchemist

With the start of a new year, everyone feels that obligation to renew their health virtues. Exercising more, eating clean… but what about taking care of your skin? I’ve recently made a serious commitment to myself to maintain my skin, especially my hands, neck, and face. Not only are these the thinnest areas of skin coverage, but they’re the first places that show the signs of age. Although I’m only in my early twenties, starting a routine early is the best prevention against pre-mature aging. I was set on making this commitment a reality, yet I’ve been weary of products that contain too many additives. To me, using no product is better than using one with damaging chemicals. With this newfound, healthy-skin resolution, I began to search for a brand that met these needs and stumbled upon Grown Alchemist. Launched by Keston and Jeremy Muijs in Australia six years ago, the company is centered on the somewhat unheard of idea of achieving “real beauty results without harmful chemicals.” With the market being saturated with claims of wholesomeness, Grown Alchemist is a breathe of fresh air that can back up these declarations. After being in the cosmetics industry for over fifteen years, the brothers behind the brand were commissioned to answer one question: How do factors like pollution, sleep, digestion, and food effect beauty? By answering this request, they developed Grown Alchemist over five years, perfecting their facts and formulas. The results were products comprised of organic ingredients that truly work. Needing to try this philosophy for myself, I got the Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream. The formula itself is extremely lightweight. It sinks into skin immediately, leaving it hydrated without that greasy feel. I was so surprised by how quickly I felt a change in the texture of my skin. Those fine lines I usually have on the backs of my hands disappeared right away, making it results I could feel and see. Since I’m so used to chemical-filled products that give the illusion of moisture yet strip the skin over time, the organic ingredients in this hand cream make me confident that it was giving me something the health of my hands was missing. Not to mention, it smells so good. Do yourself a favor and check out the brand at the link below! You (and your skin) won’t be sorry.
