For our second Holiday look, we chose to put together a decidedly more dramatic look than the first – and the 60s mod inspiration was real. While browsing for inspiration for a night-out look, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the cut-crease look. It’s different enough to stand out in a crowd (especially when done in a metallic like the gold used here), but it also has a welcomed appeal because of the vintage inspiration. Staying with the old-school theme, ‘the bigger the better’ was the motto for the hair. Keeping the hair up, back, and away from the eyes was the perfect way to compliment such a dramatic look. As for my outfit, black lace is always a good idea – especially for a romantic Holiday dinner. Just be sure to keep the dress’s silhouette clean and fitted. I promise, this makeup doesn’t require any extra volume.
