A couple of days ago, Michael and I packed a picnic lunch and headed to the beach. My two requirements for an outfit were to be warm and comfortable, and this cozy sweater and corduroys accomplished both of those things. I felt that my boots made the most sense for a winter beach day since no sand or water could get into them, but I ended up taking them off for most of the time anyway. I was right at home in this neutral outfit. With so much going on in my life lately with work and school starting again soon, I’ve felt frazzled and frustrated to say the least. I can’t explain to you how amazing it was to simply sit and take the day as it came, enjoying my boyfriend’s company, laying on our blanket, and listening to the waves. If you’ve been stressed lately, take the time to drive away from it all and spend a day outdoors. Nothing clears my mind like nature of any kind.
