One of my favorite combos recently has been thigh-high boots with a short silhouette. It’s by no means a revolutionary pairing, but it’s easy to see why the trend pops up a few times each decade. Maybe it’s the peek-a-boo thigh, but the look gives off a vibe that’s an understated kind of sexy – not too much but just enough. The pattern of the skirt and the texture of the top added a little more interest to this look while The Essential Tie pulled it all together.
