Black, white, and a little blithe: just the way I like it. With this look, the streamlined silhouette is a contrast to the playful cuts and textures of these pieces. I’m always a fan of stripes, but a black and white pattern on a crop tank? Yes, please. The knit texture of the stripe top was a natural match to these lace scalloped shorts. The high waist pairs perfectly with a tight crop – the set shows skin but doesn’t cross that exceptionally fine line. To finish off the look, I kept the accessories dark and tailored. My patent oxfords loaned a polished vibe the outfit that was a departure from the whimsical look. Never be afraid to experiment with juxtaposition!
