Ok, I have a confession to make. Maybe it’s not a confession, but an admittance of the obvious: I have a slight obsession with bandanas. And by slight, I mean full-blown addiction. Ever since I tried tying one around my neck last month (something that I never thought I’d do) I’ve been looking for new ways to wear them. I’ve been loving the western belt trend lately, but my recently back-to-school bank account hasn’t been able to support that new purchase. My solution? High-waisted Levi’s with a traditionally folded bandana through the belt loops. It’s a look that is perfectly of the moment while being different enough to stand out – the perfect balance of old and new. And the best part? It’s an affordable way to achieve that western-chic look. As for the rest of the outfit, keeping it simple was the way to go: A white burnout tank, a pop of color with my Kate Spade crossbody, and pointed black and white loafers to balance it all out.
