As you all know, mixing patterns is tricky business.  But what if you’re mixing a pattern with geometric hardware?  I absolutely loved this look from my Blogger of the Month feature with OC Style Report.  Not only was it effortless, but the cool mix of stripes and circle hardware gave the look an edge and some serious dimension.  The playfulness of the fringed hem on the vest helped to tone down the contrast by adding a layered look to the stripes.  Charcoal colored booties pulled the look together and added much needed extra detail.  While this look is only 2 pieces (plus accessories), the overall mix makes it feel complete.
