While fashion is about expressing yourself to everyone around you, it’s also important to stay true to what you love. In my case, it’s pretty obvious that I love minimal silhouettes and neutral palettes. Although this and many of my other looks could be considered simple, I always feel most confident and tailored in a streamlined ensemble. Even though there are times when I’m inclined to deck myself out in big accessories and lots of layers, most of the time I find it unnecessary. Here, the extra design of this crop maxi (yes, it’s one piece!) gave me a blank page to play around with. Black accents like my bucket bag and oxfords contrasted the lighter gray. I’ve been loving neutral mixed with black and gray, so my favorite hat was perfect to top off the look without overpowering everything else. This outfit was perfect for a Monday spent antiquing; I was comfortable and felt more than put together.
