I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: if I could live in the ocean, I would. Michael and I had a perfect day together yesterday at Crystal Cove State Park. Mondays are our only day off together, so we got up early and decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather. We started with a three-mile hike through El Morro Canyon that kicked our butts, and then changed into beach gear and laid out the rest of the afternoon. We’re thinking this is going to be our Monday routine for the summer; how can we not take advantage of being able to park in one spot to hike and go to the beach? I was feeling like a free spirit yesterday, and my beach attire mirrored that perfectly. These Eberjey lace cover-ups are some of the cutest beach shorts I’ve ever owned, so I’m sure they’ll be coming down with me every time this summer. As far as a bikini goes, no matter how many I have, I always end up back in this black staple. I had to keep that bohemian vibe flowing with my wide-brim fedora, over-sized circle sunglasses, and crystal. The waves and sun was a gorgeous backdrop for this look and the day.
