For my first gift guide of the holidays, I figured I would focus on a subject close to my life: deciding what gifts to get a picky guy. My boyfriend, Michael, has always been slightly difficult to buy presents for. He loves having the latest and greatest things, so I always feel a little bit of pressure when shopping around for him. To take some stress away from any of you that are in a similar predicament, I’ve put together some past gifts I’ve given him that he’s loved along with a few other things that I’m sure to get him in the future.
- Herschel Supply Co. Toiletry Case: This is perfect for any guy that has a good amount of grooming products. Think of it as a makeup bag, but for all of his manly lotions and aftershave. It’s perfect for everyday storage or someone that travels often.
- John Hardy Leather Bracelet: The men’s jewelry by John Hardy is an easy favorite of my boyfriend. Their pieces, like this leather bracelet, look good by themselves or stacked with a watch. The handmade, distinctive details give it that extra something special while still being classic in design.
- Shinola “The Runwell” Leather Strap Watch: I’m such a huge fan of the Shinola line of watches and their vintage appeal. They have a streamlined look that any guy would love, including Michael who has this style in black. Shinola has great prices for the quality of the movement and the designs.
- M-Clip Money Clip: Even if the guy you’re buying for has a wallet, it’s always nice to have the option of a sleek money clip. It’s an easy accessory that they can slip into their pocket on those on-the-go days without the bulk of all their cards.
- Tantalizing Manhattan Traveling Bar Set: I saw this and immediately thought it would be the perfect gift for any guy who likes his cocktails. While the travelling setup is definitely more of a novelty idea, it would also be cool set open on the counter as bar tool storage.
- The Impossible Collection Of Watches: This coffee table style book showcases a collection of luxury watches through the twentieth century. Someone who loves watches as much as my boyfriend would flip through these pages for days.
- Burberry Brit Rhythm Cologne: Let’s face it; cologne always makes a perfect gift. This Burberry one is an absolute favorite of mine. I got it for my man last year and I am obsessed with how he smells when he wears it.
- Zwilling Grooming Kit: If the man you have in mind doesn’t have a grooming kit, they’re the perfect gift. If they don’t use tools like this, this one by Zwilling is the perfect starter kit. Whether they like the idea of grooming or not, no one likes a unibrow.
