Ron Burgundy – LOUPE

While it’s no secret that I usually stray away from color in my wardrobe, wearing jewel tones is a welcomed departure from my norm. When I saw this wrap coat with quilt detail at the Minx Boutique, I knew I had to have it. It’s so different from every other piece that’s in my closet. The whole lapel becomes the hood when it’s lifted, and little details like that make it that much more special. I wore it with a top I got from there as well that is floral and fringe galore. The look can be toned-down-cool while the jacket is wrapped and closed, but opening it shows the full, fun details of the top. With so much happening with the tank and coat, I kept the lower half simple with some high-waisted Levi’s and white pumps that contrast the look but play into the light floral print.
