The Latest: Ribbed Dress & Loafers

While it seems that summer is typically a time for bright, vibrant colors, I’ve never really been one to follow along with tradition. More often than not, you’ll find that my day-to-day outfits include a wide array of blacks, grays, whites, and neutrals, leaving my opportunities to add pops of color open for how I’m feeling. So when the lovely girls over at Triple Thread Clothing sent me this gray ribbed dress, I couldn’t wait to start incorporating it into my summer looks. It’s perfectly on trend with that undone-yet-done feel. Not to mention, it can be accessorized in so many ways. A few ideas could include Chucks and a waist-tied plaid on a casual weekday, a black blazer and patent loafers for a day in the office, or with a slouchy cardigan and silver statement necklace for a night at the bar – it’s versatility is endless. As for these Forever 21 Loafers, I’ve been dying for a pair of white flats. I had included these in my White Tassel Loafer Save, Spend, Splurge and couldn’t get them off my mind. With them being such an amazing price, I couldn’t pass them up. Be warned though – they’re definitely more of a fashion statement than a comfort shoe. While I love wearing them to work, where I’m mostly at a computer desk, they wouldn’t be my go-to for a long day of walking. But, damn, do they look good on.
