While browsing through the little antique shops in our area, it’s almost impossible for me to not bring something home. There’s a charm to having a little piece of history in your living space. While at one of our favorite shops the other day, Michael and I bought this vintage kitchen canister set. Each one is designated for flour, sugar, coffee, and tea and has a corresponding image. They were made by a U.S. company called West Bend in the 1960s. While we have mostly chrome accents in our kitchen, adding these for a copper touch pulls in the warmth from the rest of our antique furniture. Not to mention, my little “Life Begins After Coffee” sign that Michael got me in Big Bear this past year looks way too cute next to them. We’re planning on moving soon, but I’m confident that they’ll fit into any future space as well. Check here for similar ones to get a vintage feel in your kitchen!
