While our wedding portraits and all of our family pictures are obviously my favorite from our big day, I would be lying if I didn’t admit that these detail shots hold a close second place in my heart. Everything was picture perfect and exactly what I had imagined. The best part? Michael and I, along with our families, pulled all of this together ourselves. The day before, we all pitched in to set up the decor. As for the day of, you’ll remember from the reception post that the tables for our dinner were placed in the same area that our ceremony was held in. That means the tablescapes were put together sometime between the end of the ceremony and the end of cocktail mingling – about an hours time – by our mothers and the caterers. All of these changes and details were captured to perfection by our amazing photographer, For Love & Light. She even made sure to grab shots of our rings before the ceremony. I don’t know how all of this was pulled off, but I will forever be grateful for this magical and beautiful day.
